Compression hosiery VENOTEKS ®. Venotex compression hosiery: how to choose and use Venotex compression tights size chart

in the form of golfs, stockings, tights and tights for pregnant women.

Characteristic

Each VENOTEKS ® THERAPY product is produced on a separate electronic machine using a complex computer program. For the health and comfort of consumers in the production of compression products of this brand, modern materials are used: cotton, DuPont Lycra ®, microfiber, nylon, etc. The compression parameters of medical knitwear are incorporated in the technology of their manufacture.

pharmachologic effect

pharmachologic effect- venocompression.

Action on the body

The impact of medical compression hosiery normalizes the natural muscle-venous "pump" of the legs. The pressure of the knitted fabric on the veins narrows their lumen, supports the valves of the veins, increases the rate of return of venous blood to the heart, prevents the return of blood through the veins and prevents the formation of blood clots.

Dosed pressure of VENOTEKS ® THERAPY knitwear frees the soft tissues of the legs from edema, leaving no room for fluid to accumulate. As a result, fatigue and muscle pain disappear.

Knee-highs, stockings and tights create an additional skeleton to support the veins and protect them from excessive stretching by constant blood pressure.

The compression effect of VENOTEKS ® THERAPY knitwear is confirmed by clinical studies and is provided within 6 months if the instructions for use and care are followed.

Component properties

The healing properties of VENOTEKS ® THERAPY are based on the fact that each product exerts pressure (compression) on the soft tissues and then on the walls of the veins evenly along the entire circumference of the leg. Compression is precisely calculated, dosed and measured in mmHg. Art.

The most significant difference between VENOTEKS ® THERAPY from any supportive jersey is that the compression is physiologically distributed over the leg (ankle - 100%; lower leg - 80%; knee - 50-60%; thigh - 20-40%).

Wear VENOTEKS ® THERAPY in the morning before the edema appears. If during the day the patient takes off the compression hosiery, then it should be put on again after 10-15 minutes of resting the legs in an elevated position. To make it easier to put on the product, the legs must be powdered with talcum or baby powder.

The scheme of putting on the compression hosiery is shown in Figures 2-5.

Figure 2. Put on a silk sock on the foot (in models with an open toe). Turn the garment inside out to the heel.

Figure 3. Gently pull the garment over the foot and make sure the heel of the garment is correctly positioned on the leg.

Figure 4. Stretch the product in a smoothing motion across the ankle to the knee, stretching each section. Do not pull the product forcibly by the top edge.

Figure 5. Finally, smooth out small wrinkles along the entire length of the product. If tights are being worn, you must further pull them over the thighs. Draw out the silk toe used in open toe models.

To remove the product, take it by the upper edge and pull it down towards the foot, carefully remove the heel, and then the entire product.

Frequently asked questions about the use of VENOTEKS ® THERAPY anti-varicose jersey

Question: What is the incidence of varicose veins in Russia?
Answer: In Russia, every second woman suffers from varicose veins. One of the main reasons for this de facto "national problem" is that compression therapy begins to be used when the disease has already affected the veins of the lower extremities. An illustrative example of the correct approach to the prevention of varicose veins is Europe. There, VENOTEKS ® THERAPY prophylactic anti-varicose tights and knee-highs begin to be worn as early as adolescence.

Question: What is the difference between preventive and therapeutic products?
Answer: The main difference between preventive and therapeutic knitwear is the level of pressure that knee-highs, stockings or tights exert on the lower third of the lower leg. VENOTEKS ® THERAPY jersey of the prophylactic class (Lights) is bought in pharmacies, treatment classes (1st, 2nd and 3rd) are prescribed by a doctor. It should be remembered that with the appearance of "cobwebs" and "spider veins", preventive jersey is already powerless! The doctor, most likely, will try to stop the development of varicose veins and prescribe knitwear of the 1st or 2nd class of compression. It depends on the symptoms of the disease.

Question: Who is at risk for varicose veins?
Answer: VENOTEKS ® THERAPY preventive jersey is specially created for those who are healthy and do not want to suffer from varicose veins. It should be worn by everyone who is included in the presented risk groups:

  • Hereditary predisposition to venous disease
  • Occupational hazards (work "on legs" and sedentary work),
  • Overweight, pregnancy and postpartum conditions,
  • Taking hormonal drugs (including contraceptives),
  • Walking in heels, carrying weights and driving a car,
  • Airplane flights, long bus tours
  • Work in the country, in the garden, repair work, etc.

Question: At what age should you wear compression hosiery?
Answer: It is necessary to wear VENOTEKS ® THERAPY knee-highs, stockings and tights as early as possible - from 17-19 years. Do you remember? The first call is heaviness in the legs and swelling of the legs!

    Question: What is Graduated Compression?
Answer: This is one of the main differences between anti-varicose hosiery and conventional compression hosiery. Anti-varicose products are designed and manufactured so that the compression on the ankle is 100%, on the knee it is reduced to 75%, on the thigh there is 50% compression, and on the groin 20%. Due to this pressure graduation, anti-varicose knitwear significantly increases the rate of blood outflow from the veins of the lower extremities. Regular compression hosiery applies equal pressure throughout. It improves the silhouette, but has nothing to do with medical products.

Question: How long should an anti-varicose jersey be worn?
Answer: Persons at risk should wear prophylactic products at all times. Medical products prescribed by a doctor are worn for 6 months, after which a re-examination is required. After surgery for varicose veins, compression hosiery is worn constantly, while the doctor periodically corrects the degree of compression.

Question: How to distinguish medicated jersey from ordinary jersey?
Answer: On the packaging of medical jersey, the compression class and pressure in millimeters of mercury must be indicated, ordinary jersey has only a marking of the density of products in DEN. If you see a "medicated" jersey marked in DEN and an indication that it is "anti-varicose", it is a fake.

Question: Where can you buy quality anti-varicose knitwear?
Answer: High-quality anti-varicose jersey, for example, the VENOTEKS ® THERAPY series, manufactured by Elastic Therapy Inc., USA, can be bought in pharmacies in Moscow (if it is a preventive jersey with a compression of 10-15 mm Hg). Medical knitwear VENOTEKS ® THERAPY of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes of compression is bought in specialized orthopedic salons.

Question: Where to buy lightweight knitwear for the summer?
Answer: Indeed, in summer, thick jerseys on the legs cause some discomfort. Therefore, the assortment of VENOTEKS ® THERAPY anti-varicose knitwear includes light transparent knee-highs, stockings and tights, including those for pregnant women, which perform all the therapeutic functions, look elegant and comfortable in hot weather. The entire range is presented in specialized orthopedic salons.

    • Hypoallergenic. Tights are made of safe materials using the LatexFree technology.

    Work technology:

Venoteks Trend 2C405 compression tights create graduated pressure on the soft tissues and veins of the legs: 100% - in the ankle area, 70% (from the pressure on the ankle) - in the upper leg, 40% - on the thigh. Due to this, the outflow of venous blood from the feet to the heart is restored. With the help of such compression, blood circulation in the legs during the day is correct, the risks of developing varicose veins are reduced. In fact, you will feel this compression effect from the first day of wearing - your legs simply will not get tired by the evening, even with long walking.
